The Z-Man® Hula StickZ™ is the ideal bait when finesse tactics are dictated by fishing conditions. Pair it with a light jighead—or Texas-rigged—and this buoyant bait will stand up on the bottom with tentacles dancing. The Hula StickZ is also designed for the “Ned Rig” technique, a Midwest-style of finesse fishing. Highly effective, the Ned Rig fishing technique is centered on rigging small soft-plastic ElaZtech® baits on light jigheads. What makes this technique different from other finesse techniques is best observed under water. The ElaZtech material’s buoyancy and softness cause the jighead and plastic combination to slowly flutter and dart towards the bottom, seldom failing to elicit a strike from any bass in the area.
